If you or your kids love bounce houses, then you’ll LOVE this bounce park!
FUNBOX bounce park travels around the country, providing some fun and exhausting entertainment for kids and adults alike. Luckily, it stopped close to our home, so we could check it out!

What is FUNBOX?
FUNBOX is a traveling inflatable bounce park. They advertise it to be 25,000 square feet, and it feels that way once you’re inside. Think of your average bounce house and multiply it by 20!
There are two sections of the bounce area. The first section is the main bounce part. It features obstacles, tall slides, and a mountain to climb on. Even one of the tallest bouncy pillows I’ve ever seen!
The other section is a HUGE obstacle course. It looks like four of those bounce house obstacle courses put together. Both sections were a lot of fun, and we went through each of them a few times before getting too tired to continue.
Tips For Your Visit
Reserve Your Time Slot
Before you leave, reserve your time slot in advance. This will ensure they do not sell out. They limit the number of people who can attend each session.
Arrive Early
We arrived about 20 minutes before our bounce time, thanks to less traffic on the road than expected. But I am glad we did! They recommend arriving 15 minutes early, and pretty much right after we checked in, the line got LONG!
Wear Non-Skid Socks
FUNBOX requires socks to be worn while in the bounce park. You can wear regular socks if that is all you own.
However, if you have any non-skid socks from the trampoline parks (think SkyZone or Altitude socks), wear them! They will help you climb around on some of the obstacles and even help you as you walk around the bounce park.
They also sell non-skid socks at the door if you’d like a pair, but do not already own any.
Bring Lots of Water
You are allowed to bring your own water into the park, so make sure to bring a lot of it! We almost ran out of water, and we weren’t there for the full bouncing time. They do sell water bottles if you run out.
Bring One Adult For Each Child
This place is enormous, and there are tons of opportunities for kids to get separated from their chaperones.
If you are bringing little ones, I would try to bring one adult (or responsible teenager) for each kid. It would be too easy to lose track of one child while chasing the other around the park.
What’s In the Bounce Park?
As noted above, the bounce park is separated into two sections.
The main section is divided into several areas. You’ll find various obstacles and slides in this area. Some of our favorites included the tall slides, the “green ocean” (an uneven floor), climbing towers, the mountain, and the giant bouncy pillow.
The other section is one massive obstacle course. It looks like someone took four bounce house obstacle courses and combined them.
There are plenty of attractions for everyone, though the littlest kids might need help with some of the climbing structures.
Amenities
Shoe Cubbies
Don’t worry about where to put your shoes. There is a “closet” with several large pockets for shoes, water bottles, and other items you don’t want to bounce with. This area is not guarded, so I wouldn’t leave anything of value in there.
Tables & Chairs
There was a shaded section with several small tables and chairs set up. If you think you’ll want one, grab one as soon as you walk in, because they went fast!
Bathrooms & Hand-Washing Stations
At our FUNBOX location, there were a few port-a-johns and some hand-washing stations near the table and chairs. Since our setup was in the middle of a parking lot, it was nice to see them available.
Water & Snack Sales
There isn’t much for sale as far as snacks are concerned. But at our FUNBOX, they had water bottles and snow cones for purchase.
Is FUNBOX Worth It?
We visited FUNBOX during the opening weekend for our location, so we only spent $13/person, plus fees. I think that was totally worth it for the time and fun we had.
However, normal prices are $24/person plus fees. Is that worth it? Maybe. I probably would have made the kids stay the full 80 minutes versus leaving halfway.
It’s definitely a fun experience, and it got us all outside and moving on a hot summer morning, so, all in all, I would say it was worth it.
