Tips For Visiting the Crayola Experience in Easton

When planning your visit to the Crayola Experience, keep these five tips in mind!

Purchase Your Tickets Ahead of Time

Buying your tickets online ahead of time not only saves you money but also time! If you purchased your tickets, or have a Groupon, you can avoid the ticket line altogether and head right for the attractions. Make sure to get your tokens and other goodies they hand out before you enter the experience!

Arrive Early

The Crayola Experience is a top-rated attraction in Easton, PA. Arriving at opening gives visitors the best chance at shorter waits at some of the attractions. The Fourth Floor has some of the most popular attractions, like the Melt & Mold and Drip Art. Head there first to avoid the longer lines that develop throughout the day.

Know What You Can Get With Your Tokens

Included with your admission to the Crayola Experience are two tokens per person. These tokens are for use at various machines throughout the facility.

The most popular way to use the tokens are the personalized crayons. In the “Wrap It Up!” room, visitors can choose one of the offered colors and then design their own crayon label.

After the label prints out, take it over the wrapping station. Guest can use the simple machine or try to do it by hand. The machine makes it a lot easier!

Tokens can also be used to “purchase” modeling clay or a random marker. The modeling clay can be found in vending machines in the Modeling Madness room. Marker machines are scattered throughout the experience.

If your child wants a full set of crayons or a few more colors of modeling clay, you can purchase extra tokens for $.50 each.

Plan to Spend 2-3 Hours at the Crayola Experience

On our most recent visit, we spent about two hours in the building and didn’t do all of the fun activities they offer. Kids will want to sit and color, paint, and design their artwork, and that takes time!

Not to mention, there is a huge play area on the 3rd floor for the kids to let off some energy. For children four years old and younger, there is a smaller play area on the 2nd floor. These are perfect areas for parents to sit down and relax for a few minutes.

On busier days, like weekends and school holidays, there may be long lines for some of the attractions. Keep that in mind when planning your day.

Some Experiences Cost Extra

The majority of the attractions are included in the cost of your Crayola Experience admission. However, there are a few craft areas that are at an additional cost. The Trading Post on the 2nd floor allows kids to make sand art and other crafts. On the 3rd floor, kids can mold their own wax hands.
