Where is the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry?
The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry continues State Route 31 across the James River about midway between Richmond and Norfolk in Virginia. The ferry connects Jamestown, on the northern side of the river, to Scotland.
The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry Schedule and Cost
The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry runs 24 hours, 365 days a year. Even the major holidays. The ferry schedule changes depending on the time of day. From 5:30 am until 8:00 pm, the ferries depart both ports on the hour and half hour. During the other hours, the ferry departs Jamestown on the half-hour and Scotland on the hour.
As for the cost, the ferry is FREE to ride!
