If your child has extra energy, they can climb a rock wall or slide down the slide. The giant “Lite-Brite” is a favorite among all the visitors, although it is in a secret, “hidden” location.

The museum promotes the idea of STEAM learning. Some of the exhibits focus on design and engineering. Other displays teach kids about different forms of energy, such as wind and electricity. The wind power exhibits are very popular with kids. They spend a lot of time running back and forth to catch handkerchiefs!

Bucks County History

A big part of Bucks County’s history is the Delaware Canal, which runs parallel to the Delaware River for 60 miles. The canal was used to transport goods in Bucks County, and it is still around today.

There are two exhibits at the museum that teach kids about water power and the use of rivers and canals for transportation. The water display even has locks like the canal!

Pretend Play

There are two rooms dedicated to imaginative play. The areas contain businesses like a general store, ice cream stand, diner, and hospital.

This section of the museum is always busy, with kids serving up their favorite dishes and distributing the mail. When it’s time for your check-up, head over to the doctor’s office to learn about bones and organs in the extra large “Operation” table.
