Prepare For Snow Tubing

Like any winter activity, you want to be prepared and dressed appropriately for snow tubing.

  • Although you won’t sweat like you would when skiing, you’ll still get warm moving around. Layer up with a sweat-wicking shirt close to the skin.
  • Water-resistant pants and outer layers are a great idea. Even though you’re sitting on the tube, you’ll still get plenty of snow on you during your rides.
  • Wool socks and snow boots will be beneficial in keeping your feet warm and dry.
  • Remember a hat and eye protection. You’re going fast down that hill, and ice and snow will hit your head and face.
  • Keep your phone from flying out of your hand! This lanyard allowed me to record our runs without fear of losing my phone.
